Development of Compact Hydrogen Generator for On-site Hydrogen Station

1. Introduction Fuel Cell Vehicles ("FCV") powered by hydrogen are expected to be popularized as the ultimate eco cars that emit no CO_2 and air pollution in running. Japan plans to launch the sales of FCV production models in 2015 and provide about 100 hydrogen stations in advance. Now, hydrogen energy draws increasing attention as a key to realize the low-carbon society. The needs for development in hydrogen generation, storage and supply technologies also rise.
