Monoblock fingered disc design with optimised cooling characteristics - (PPT)

摘要

Analyses and testing of the fingered designed disc proved concept potentials; Fingered hub (machined) concept withstood 2.5 times maximal braking torque; Shape and Topology optimisation gave relatively modest mass savings of only about 2% relative to the fingered design but 10% to the original disc design.
