Research on the Design of Urban Comprehensive Passenger Transport Hub-Taking the Hefei Comprehensive Passenger Transport Hub as an Example

Passenger transport hub, the hub knot-point of the city, connecting the urban transport and the external, plays an important role in the urban traffic planning.Currently, highway passenger transportation has already be one of the most important ways of passenger transport of cities in China, with closing relationship of the daily life.The planning and design of which, is one of the key factors effecting whether a city could work high-efficiently in order.For in various cities in China today, the traffic system has well constructed, with large passenger volume, the call for the scale of passenger transport hub is increasing.In order to combine with the development of urban economy and transportation, completely new design ideals were created.The new passenger transport hub calls for effective transfer function, closing relationship with the city, and possible commercial value.The two major functional properties, zero-transfer and multi-function, the new functions of passenger transport hub were studied within the paper, on the research of the advanced examples home and abroad.With the change of design concept, the key points of functional structure, spatial distribution, and traffic streamline organization were studied, acting in the engineering example of the writers.
