CIRP: A unique academy in production engineering

摘要

After a short history of CIRP, the paper describes the present structure and organization of this international academy, its vision and mission. The key points of CIRP policy are presented and discussed. The challenges and perspectives of the future of CIRP are finally presented in terms of continutity and improvement.
