The study investigated the hydro magnetic boundary layer flow, heat and mass transfer of a non-Newtonian Casson fluid near a stagnation point over a stretching surface in the presence of thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and a chemical reaction. A suitable similarity transformations are employed to transform the governing partial differential equations into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Numerical solutions are then developed using the spectral local linearization method (SLLM). These numerical results indicate that the flow, temperature and concentration fields are significantly influenced by the Casson parameter, the magnetic parameter, velocity ratio parameter, Eckert number and chemical reaction.
