Perovskite-type A_xCa_(1-x)B_yMn_(1-y)O_(3-δ) (A; La, Bi, Y, Sr) (B; Ni, Ti, V) thin-films were prepared by the conventional electrostatic spray deposition (ESD) method in order to find substitution elements with thermoelectric properties superior to those of A_xCa_(1-x)B_yMn_(1-y)O_(3-δ). The electrical conductivity of a single-doped compound was increased when the substituted element had a higher valence number than the Ca or Mn ion. The PF value showed a similar tendency. The thermoelectric properties of all of the compounds obtained by the ESD method were consistent with reports on solid-state reactions. Co-doped Bi_(0.02)Ca_(0.98)Mn_(0.98)V_(0.02)O_(3-δ) and Bi_(0.02)Ca_(0.98)Mn_(0.98)Ni_(0.02)O_(3-δ) both had somewhat higher conductivity and PF values than the other compounds.
