摘要

Theoretical estimation of activation cross sections for neutron induced reactions constitutes important nuclear data where experimental measurements are scarce. In this work the study of production cross section and yield of radio nuclides formed by neutron induced (n, p) and (n, α) reactions on ~(74)Ge target upto 20 MeV projectile energy have been carried out. Nuclear reaction model codes ALICE-91, EMPIRE-3.1 and TALYS-1.2 have been used for the purpose. The codes account for the major nuclear reaction mechanisms, including direct, pre-equilibrium and compound nuclear ones. The excitation functions of these isotopes have been compared graphically with the evaluated nuclear data file (ENDF) and available experimental data.
