In compounded film process, as the way of exchanging rollers manually in the end of unwinding rollers will lead to a decline in production efficiency, a multi-motor wheeled automatic roller exchanging system is proposed. The system drives four servo motors by Programmable Multiple-Axis Controller (PMAC) simultaneously, makes two servo motors which drive cross shaft and cutter shaft under high precision position control mode, makes the other two servo motors which drive unwinding rollers under speed control mode, detects the position of dancer roll to keep tension constant. Compared with the way of exchanging rollers manually, the new way can exchange rollers effectively with no downtime, improve the production efficiency and the rate of finished products.
