摘要

Defect-free multilayer functionally graded MMC structures made by laser direct deposition. Increasing the titanium carbide concentration further refined matrix microstructure and introduced fine TiC crystalline precipitates. Hardness of composite improved significantly with additional TiC reinforcement. Wear resistance increased with TiC content.
