A method has been proposed to use the output of an SEA model to calculate the spatially-varying acoustic field in a semi-reverberant acoustic space, specifically in an automobile interior. The results show that this method can reliably predict both reverberant and direct-field response at a given location. The nature of this method would allow for automation in SEA sofhvare that maintains spatial relationships between subsystems.
