Dynamic model of Hand-held Assistive Writing Device for Hand Tremor

The hand tremor is a kind of disease that may interrupt a person's ability to perform their daily routine, including holding and writing. The biomechanical loading in this research is presented by introducing a tremor test rig with active assistive writing device. The system identification is deployed to determine the dynamic model of the hand-held assistive writing device based on observed input and output data. The parametric model of least square (LS) method and auto-regressive exogenous input (ARX) structure is deliberated. The dynamic model obtained is able to closely represent the actual system, and the correlation tests with pole-placements in PZ-map show the stability of the system.
