摘要

Introduction: We assumed that applying EEG biofeedback therapy will strengthen the control of impulsivity and attention and other possible manifestations of treatment will include improvement in motor and coordination skills.Material and Methods: Subjects consists of 60 children with Cerebral Palsy of mild form, associated with hypotonic syndrome and axial hypotonia, symptoms and signs involving the nervous and musculoskeletal systems, lack of coordination with combination ADHD. The subjects were divided into two groups: 1st group (EEG biofeedback) - 30 children, mean age 8.9yrs, underwent 30 EEG biofeedback procedures 2-3 times a week; 2nd group (classical rehabilitation) - 30 children, mean age 8.5yrs, underwent 30 procedures of classical rehabilitation 2-3 times a week. The length of one procedure was 30-45 minutes in both groups. All children were tested using PANESS test before and after the procedures and tested for assessment of impulsivity and attention. Achieved total time in repetitive and pattern movements was also evaluated. Results: Total score of all variables of PANESS test achieved in 1st was (M=58.57) before and (M=25.87) after the procedures. Significant improvement after biofeedback rehabilitation was documented (p=0.000). Sum of achieved time of repetitive and pattern movements was (Mdn=101.60) vs (Mdn=88.95), (p=0.000) after procedures. In the 2nd group improvement in motor skills was also found out but these changes didn't reach statistical significance. Achieved time (Mdn=137.06) vs (Mdn= 107.85), (p=0.000) was significantly shorter but less marked. We have compared the differences in input and output score of PANESS test and attention in 1st group and found statistically significant correlation, where the correlation coefficient is (r_s=0.511), (p< 0.01) - improvement in motor skill correlated with improvement of attention. Conclusions: Comparing results of both groups showed significantly better results in motor skills in the 1st group and similar significant results in total time of repetitive and pattern movements in the 2nd group.
