This paper presents the application of radial point interpolation method for wave propagation modeling and investigation of the effective parameters on captured signals. This approach is a meshfree technique which employs radial basis function for shape function construction in the support domain of problem. Due to the satisfaction of Kronecker delta property, utilizing this method leads to the simple enforcement of essential boundary conditions as easily as in finite element method. In this study, the optimal parameters of Gaussian RBF and dimension size of support domain are adopted by exploration of the root mean square error between analytical and benchmark signals. The results which correspond to the minimum RMSE represent the optimal value of effective parameters for wave propagation analysis.
