The mesh movement is necessary in fluid-structure computations in order to define clearly the deformed solid boundary and in many cases may reduce accuracy and fluid-structure interaction capability. In this paper we present a new moving mesh algorithm, based on a multilevel Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian method, to be used in the computation of the fluid domain displacement field in fluid-structure interaction problems. This method could be used both in single and multi grid solvers to reduce the possibility of mesh overlapping when large displacements are taken into account.
