An approach to implement IEC 61508 Part 3 norm to SIL3 safety software written in C++

One step of implementing safe software is to take into account the requirements given in the IEC 61508 Part 3 must be correctly interpreted and translated into, for example C++ programming language. This can significantly increase a time needed to get a product to market. To overcome this issue, we are giving concrete C++ implementations of the standard requirements. The UML diagrams will be used to present a C++ code. Moreover, we will cover highly recommended requirements for a SIL3 software product given in the standard: support tools, programming language and detailed design. The PC-lint tool and MISRA C++ will be used to check the safety C++ code. On top of this, the code tests will be explained.
