摘要

Rapid development of computer technologies makes prerequisites for application of new more progressive methods for design of structures. Among these methods belong as well fully probabilistic method SBRA (Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment) based on computer simulation Monte Carlo. This method allows effective solution of wide range problems, where input quantities exhibit non-negligible marks of randomness. This is as well case of majority of problems regarding design of civil engineering structures. Following paragraphs of this paper briefly indicate potential of this method on an example dealing with reliability analysis of reinforced high performance concrete beam.
