The idea of this study was based on the intention to develop a national parent education strategies, which belongs to the organization Holt Romania, one of the national providers of such programs, intention shared by UNICEF Romania, which has consistently supported and promoted in the past decade pilot programs in this area, as well as national authorities, directly or through intermediary structures that have said on several occasions interest in developing a national strategy for the implementation of parental education as a form of support and building services to prevent abuse, neglect, child labor, parental abandonment and the school etc. and promoting children's rights. Also, parental education is seen as a useful tool for recovering poor parenting in some form of intervention in child protection.
