Calculation and application of fractal dimension for rock micro-morphology based on SEM image

摘要

The micro-morphology of three kinds of rock were obtained by using the scanning electron microscope (SEM) under different multiple, suck as granite, red sand-stone and diabase. According to the function of image processing and numerical calculation of Matlab, the binary image was got after the process of threshold segmentation and filter processing. Then the Matlab program was compiled, so as to calculated the fractal dimension. At last, the microscopic changes law of structure was given according to the calculation results of three kinds of rock.
