This paper is to develop cold storage warehouse using thermobank and defrosting by the outside natural air. Damper system is used for cooling of storage room and operating natural air defrosting of evaporator in cold storage warehouse. The system stores the hot gas heat with thermobank during refrigeration cycles and the storage heat of thermobank was used to heat floor panel and hot gas defrosting in the winter season. The thermobank reduces condensation load and the room of cold storage warehouse maintains the constant temperature for working with cold storage, and then changing over heat pump for heating floor panel. Using the natural air defrost system can prevent temperature increasing in the cold storage warehouse. The heat pump system is investigated experimentally and analyzed under cold storage and floor panel heating. The average performances of the refrigerator with cold storage and the heat pump with floor panel heating, under some test conditions, show the good COP of 3.7 and 4.7, respectively.
