Assessment of Risk Factors of Environment Pollution Caused by Accidental Oil Spilling on the Base of Mathematical Modelling

In this article some results of calculations of oil penetration into the soils and distribution in surface waters 1 in case of oil emergency spilling on the territory of Georgia are presented. Namely oil penetration into the soils from a flat surface containing pit is investigated. Petroleum and mineral oil distribution and transportation by the river Rioni to the Black Sea is studied. Spilled oil's spreading in the eastern coastal zone of the Black Sea is simulated on the basis of a 2-D numerical model describing oil distribution in the Black Sea. Some results of numerical calculations have shown that risk of surface and subsurface waters pollution owing to oil emergency spilling on the territory of Georgia is high.
