Evaluation of internal recuperation of heat from flue gasses resulted from urban waste incineration

The paper presents a case study for evaluation of internal recuperation of heat from flue gasses resulted from urban waste incineration. The authors have presented some general aspects regarding urban waste management. There have been also presented specific aspects regarding heat recuperation from flue gasses from waste incineration. The authors have presented a case study of heat recuperation for combustion air preheating from flue gasses resulted from urban waste incineration. There have been performed energetic and economic analyses. The final results lead to fossil fuel savings, thus leading to increasing the economic efficiency and at the same time decreasing the environmental pollution.
