SURVEY OF POTENTIAL ENERGY SAVINGS USING HIGH EFFECTIVENESS RECUPERATORS FOR WASTE HEAT RECOVERY FROM INDUSTRIAL FLUE GASES

The contract Statement of Work for Task I sets forth the following tasks:n(a) Survey industries in the Southern California area with large potential for waste heat recovery using flue gas recuperators. Industries to be contacted would be determined from published data and recommendations of the Southern California Gas Company.n(b) Evaluate and analyze the local data collected. This will be a comparative analysis of existing systems, and identification of alternatives for the range of applications.n(c) Project California energy use pattern data to nationwide use using currently published data.n(d) Prepare a formal report giving the results of the analysis and an evaluation of collected data, as well as projections to a nationwide potential.
