Applying TPV Seals to Improve Sunroof Sealing Performance

Background: Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPV) are used in increasing volume to manufacture automotive sunroof seals. In 2007 JYCO Sealing Technologies manufactured and supplied over one million TPV sunroof seals. Ideal material property performance, cost, and the comparative low stress that TPVs place on the environment, make TPVs more competitive than other material alternatives.
