Frome Basin Uranium Production

摘要

Detailed geological, resource and hydrgeological characterisation of an in situ recovery (ISR) wellfield is the key to optimising uranium recovery. Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd has been ISR mining in the Frome Basin, South Australia since 2000 and this presentation examines some of the differences between the various deposits and the challenges that have been overcome in order to maintain producing uranium over this 14 year period during both boom and bust cycles of the uranium price.
