Uranium Mine Development in Colorado, USA – The Hansen Project

ASX-listed Black Range Minerals Limited (BLR/Company) controls 100 per cent of the Hansen/Taylor Ranch Uranium Project (Project), which encompasses more than 13 500 acres within one of the five major uranium districts in the state of Colorado. The Project contains JORC Code-compliant Indicated and Inferred Resources of more than 90.9 million pounds U3O8 at a very robust grade of 0.06 per cent U3O8, making it one of the largest uranium projects within the USA. BLR has chosen to utilise mining technologies that are both environmentally sensitive and economically feasible. The company has formed a strategic alliance with Kinley Exploration LLC to conduct a detailed preliminary technical and economic evaluation of mining the project using engineered underground borehole mining technology (UBHM); an approach that would virtually eliminate the need for large infrastructure or open excavation. UBHM is a selective mining method that allows for remote access to deep and/or narrow targets, targeted sel
