摘要

Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) is a widely used polymer with great wear resistance and adhesion. In contrast, polyether block amide elastomers (PEBAX) have good resistance to pressure. In this work, blending of TPU and PEBAX was investigated to obtain materials with good wear resistance and resistance to applied pressure. These elastomers were melt blended using twin screw extrusion. The morphology, rheology, thermal, and physio-mechanical properties of the blends were evaluated as a function of blend ratio and processing conditions.
