Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide is a kind of decontaminants with the feature of Low-temperature, Non-water, Low-corrode, has great potential in decontaminating sensitive equipments and the inner space of large equipments overseas. The main objective of this study was to study whether Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide can be used to decontaminate the Military Uniform. For this purpose, a series experiments were carried out. The results show that Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide can degradation HD, but the efficacy depends on the drop size and density of HD. And Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide can compatible with Military Uniform, and no corrosive happen. So we have a conclusion that the VHP can be used for the decontamination of HD. How to decontaminate the uniform from the contaminated war fighter rapidly and thoroughly has a great significance for the quickly recovery of the troop fighting capacity in the future battlefield. Due to the particularity of the materials for Military Uniform, when people cross the area or the road which has been infected by the chemical warfare agents, they are very easy to absorb the poisonous vaporous or the aerosol[1]. The research team has tracked the new foreign decontamination-Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide decontaminants. It has the advantages of low-temperature, non-water, low-corrode etc. It attracts great attention in the fields of foreign precision sensitive instruments and the inside decontamination for the large-scale equipment [2]. In addition to this, VHD has a good material compatibility with nylon from the relevant research of the US. Army Eich Wood Biological Chemical Research Center [3]. In this thesis, we will try to make this technique apply to the decontamination of Military Uniform and through the application of the 07 Summer Combat Uniform which is contaminated by HD, we explore its applied feasibility.
