This paper analyzes why the classics in Literature, History, and Philosophy are neglected. The impact is estimated and some measures are proposed to solve the problem. University period is an important stage for students to promote their humane quality. As the second classroom, library plays important task in improving the students' self-cultivation in Literature, History, and Philosophy. To improve the students' self-cultivation in Literature, History, and Philosophy, the key is that library should play as the reading guide, lead students into the wonderful world of reading, and improve their personality imperceptibly.
