GNSS water vapor retrieval at small scales - (PPT)

摘要

GPS catches short term changes in path delay very accurately and on spatial scales of a few kilometers. GPS zenith total path delays shows very good agreement with delays calculated from radiosonde data. GPS path delays at this local scale are less biased than delays modeled with the numerical weather prediction model Cosmo2 (MeteoSwiss). Path delays might be used as rain precursors.
