EXIT POLLS: Instant Feedback from Teaching Events and Conference Talks

This essay presents Exit Polls, a method for getting immediate feedback from a training group. The method uses three plastic boxes and a pile of poker chips, which are used to cast votes. The presenter receives feedback right after his performance. The method was found useful to evaluate a series of 20 conference talks. It is recommended mostly for its immediacy and simplicity, especially when internet-based solutions are unavailable.
