Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) or Seafarers Identification Document is a legal and officially written authenticated paper for a seafarer which contains a record of his entire sea journey. Starting from where the individual has studied it tracks the records of various ships he has sailed on and the places which he has docked as well. Keeping a hard copy of these important papers is without a doubt a tedious process and with the recent increasing incidents of forgery of these documents has raised many concerns in the industry. To make CDC process secure and much easier, we have come up with a proposal of Digitalization of the Seafarers document. Today we are witnessing digitalization in our day to day activities, everything around us, near is digitalized. The machines we use, our mobile phones even our scan machines are digitalized, the best example of implication of digitalization is making decision during the toughest moments in sports. This process makes things happen in a jiffy with just a click of a button. But unfortunately when the world is steadily moving to embrace thus faster and smarter technology, marine sector is somehow taking a foot backward. Digitalization of seafarer's document is a presentation which through well compiled facts and the survey reports will show the marine world how digitalization can be effectively gelled into the current normal procedures which have been followed by our industry..
