Preparation of Aluminosilicate Mesoporous Catalyst and its Application for Production 5-Hydroxymethyl Furfural Dehydration from Fructose

摘要

The aluminosilicate mesoporous MCM-41 is prepared by secondary restructure in hydrothermal condition. Both the secondary restructure and incorporation of Al in MCM-41 can obviously improve the hydrothermal stability and acidity of these materials. The catalytic reaction of materials prepared is evaluated by dehydrating fructose for 5-Hydroxymethyl Furfural. It is found that the 5% MCM-41 catalyst added leading to the reaction activity enhanced by more than twice. Furthermore, sulfonated MCM-41 catalyst is helpful to increase the acidity and leading the higher reactivity. The corresponding conversion of fructose and the yield for 5-Hydroxymethyl Furfural are 83.26% and 51.83%, respectively.
