EL-TO Zagreb cogeneration power plant exist on its location since 1907. It has been developed through years in different phases. Presently it has two cogeneration units, which consist of steam turbines and high pressure boilers. Unit A has 12 MWe and unit B has 30 MWe. There are also two gas turbines (2 x 25 MWe) connected to two HRSGs that produce 120 t/h of low pressure steam and 20MWt of hot water. Two hot water boilers (2 x 116 MWt) are used for district heating of town Zagreb and one low pressure steam boiler (80 t/h, 17 bar) is used for producing industrial steam for neighbouring industry.
