It is well known that the world's demand for goods and energy continues to grow increasing : 1 Pollution, including CO2 emissions 3 Any type of wastes comprising town ones 3 Increase of the price of fossil fuels Within this framework, it is becoming day by day more important to select a competitive and ecological waste treatment technology. Up till now the greater part of the 100 million tons of household wastes, created every year in Europe, is still disposed of in land-fill sites. The thermal treatment technology is today considered the best ecological answer to this important problem. A large number of thermal waste treatment processes have recently been developed, but the conventional grate firing incineration technology is remaining the more used up to now.
