3D catalog of rare medicinal plants

摘要

Utilization of rare medicinal plants in Indonesia is still little. The utilization and cultivation of rare medicinal plants are still limited among people who are working in this field. Public in general do not know information regarding rare medicinal plants include plant form, efficacy, processing plant and cultivation that could be a promising alternative in health care. The availability of media information for rare medicinal plants in Indonesia is one solution to the problem. Digital catalog based 3D as a mean of information delivery can be more attractive and efficient in presenting information to be conveyed associated with 20 species of rare medicinal plants in Indonesia. In order to develop digital catalog, authors used method of Interactive Multimedia System Design and Development (IMSDD) which consist of four stages includes system requirements, design considerations, implementation, and evaluation. The application presented rare medicinal plant information in 3D to provide clear information and attractive to users.
