摘要

1. Low molecular weight linear polyethylene (MW_(av) ~ 1000 and 4000) was succesfully grafted onto CNC nanoparticles using benzoyl peroxide as the radical forming agent. 2. Low Mw PE (wax) grafted CNC in HDPE resulted interpenetration of grafted polyolefin chains with HDPE network. 3. Low (up to 3%) level of grafted CNC loading in HDPE resulted excellent mechanical properties.
