This paper presents a 77 GHz half-sphere dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) based on a coplanar-waveguide (CPW) fed for millimeter-wave application. The antenna offer low-cost compact and high-efficiency performance in the W-band using ABS material that is compatible with the 3D printing technology. The compact-size and low profile of the half-sphere make it great candidate for short-range wireless communication and high-resolution imaging. The antenna works in the W-band with an achieved gain of 6.89 dB at 77 GHz and with a radiation efficiency of 96.7%.
