A horn antenna fabricated by low-cost wire cutting is designed towards short-range beamforming at 140GHz. This antenna connects with a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) transmission line on its bottom, and is excited by a slot etched on the SIW. The measured results of this horn antenna without SIW indicate an impedance bandwidth of over 30GHz centered at 140GHz with a mean gain of 14.7 dBi. When integrating with SIW feed line, the measured mean gain maintains at 14.4 dBi with a fluctuation lower than 2dB.
