CHINESE RP-3 JET FUELS IN MICROCHANNEL REACTORS

摘要

Regenerative cooling using hydrocarbon fuel on board has been considered to be the most effective solution when flight speed of future aircraft exceeds Mach 5 (ca. 1700 m/s). Previously, a term ‘endothermic hydrocarbon fuels’ (EHF) is usually used for hydrocarbon fuels with bulk endothermic reactions. To put this new cooling method to practical use, the mechanism of the pyrolysis and fluid dynamic phenomena including the heat transfer should be understand well.
