摘要

The effect of binder and particle size of iron ore on the cold and high temperature strength of carbon composite pellet were measured under simulated condition of blast furnace. It could know that the particle size of iron ore give effect to the strength of pellet under reducing atmosphere. It was also determined that the effect of alkali content on high temperature strength of carbon composite pellet, and concluded that the disintegration is increased with increase of alkali content due to the swelling. The reduction and melting behavior of the sinter and carbon composite pellet were also evaluated by using the SUL tester, and it was confirmed that reduction and melting properties of sinter could be improved by the charging of carbon composite pellet in ore bed.
