High-performance structural steel has been utilized in some steel-framed structures. The investigation about high performance steel has already been conducted in the literature, but its constitutive relationship under cyclic loading has not been studied sufficiently. Fifteen coupon specimens of high performance steel (Q345GJ) were tested under monotonic and cyclic loading with eleven different loading conditions, and the corresponding stress-strain relationships under these different loading protocols have been obtained. The high-performance steel constitutive model, mechanical properties, deformation and ductility have been studied. The stress-strain skeleton curves of high-performance structural steel Q345GJ under cyclic loading are achieved by curve fitting using the modified Ramberg-Osgood model. The results are important for analyzing the behaviour of high-performance structural steel under seismic loading.
