International Comparison of Reverse Technological Spillover Effect of China's Outward Direct Investment:Based on Nine Economies

摘要

As an important channel for international technological spillover,reverse technological spillover effect of China's outward direct investment is getting increasingly important.This paper is tested based on regression method using time series data of China's outward direct investment in nine host economies for the period 1985-2008 and to do a comparison of the difference of reverse technological spillover effect among the nine host economies which are brought by outward direct investment.The empirical result shows that China's outward direct investment in technology advanced countries and regions would more efficient in improving technology progress of the home country.
