Robotic products contribute in several ways in mining operations. We call those 'value components' and they include (a) safety, replacing people working in high temperature, irritating or toxic gases, risk of suspended load fall, risk of entrapment, heavy duty labour and similar high risk environments; (b) operating continuity, shortening maintenance cycles; (c) reliability, performing its duties systematically, (d) cost reduction and (e) economic benefits. Those are called 'intrinsic components'.
