A 3D visualized computer mine simulation model was developed based on mining development and production processes logic. It has incorporated data from Datamine software for resource block model, AutoCAD software for mine layout and Oracle database for information such as equipment performance, cost, manpower and mining sequence. It has been used for evaluating different scenarios and then for decision-making in a mining project at stages such as the project feasibility study, mine development and mine production.
