In this work, we show the force exerted on a dipolar particle from a partially coherent electromagnetic field. We demonstrate, that the correlation length of a source give us a new degree of freedom and it will play an important role in the dynamic of the particle. Specifically, we will assume a homogeneous source and we calculate the different forces that interacts with the particle. In near field, the total force will be governed by the gradient force, through the evanescent components, nevertheless, for distances larger than the wavelength this gradient force will be zero, being only the non-conservative force the responsible. We remark these effects when surface plasmon are excited, enhancing drastically the value of the gradient force.
