Polybenzoxazines,as a class of thermosetting phenolic resins formed by thermal ring-opening of the corresponding benzoxazines monomers without any catalyst,have demonstrated various attractive properties,which make the polybenzoxazines a better candidate over epoxies and traditional phenolic resins in the electronics,aerospace,and other industries [1-2].Benzoxazine monomers as the polybenzoxazine precursors can be prepared from phenols,primary amines and formaldehyde by solvent or solventless method.It is a common knowledge that chiral groups have attracted much interest because of their unique optical and biological activities.Many studies reported that chiral benzoxazines have been used as rough material or catalyst in asymmetric synthesis [3].However,the researches concerning the resolution of racemic benzoxazine in HPLC are seldom reported.
