The Shear Cracking Analysis on Thick Section Spring Flat Steel 51CrV4

摘要

The shear cracking and its reason on thick section spring flat steel 51CrV4 are analyzed,its specification is100 × 36mm.The results show that the crack is in the center of the sample,there has microscopic cracking layer in the center,and we can speculate the surface is about 3.5 ～ 6mm2by the transverse and longitudinal crack length ;The main defects of the microscopic cracking layer are caused by the content of easy segregation element is high in the spring fiat steel,especially for the sulfide along the crystal boundary,which caused banded structure,and the grain is also coarse.
