PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shear facility for a thick steel plate with less yielding percentage, a manufacturing method for a thick steel plate and a shear method for a thick steel plate.;SOLUTION: A shear facility for a thick steel plate comprises a shear apparatus that shears the thick steel plate into product dimensions and a fixing apparatus that fixes the tip of the thick steel plate at a product dimensional position, the fixing apparatus consisting of a rotary shaft installed in parallel with the thick steel plate width direction and a planar plate stopping member coupled with the rotary shaft to fix the thick steel plate on vertical contact with the longitudinal end of the thick steel plate, the fixing apparatus further having a sensor which senses contact of the thick steel plate with the plate stopping member, and the sensor being installed immediately close to the rotary shaft, or on a side face of the plate stopping member orthogonal to the axial direction of the rotary shaft, to sense contact of the thick steel plate with the plate stopping member.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
