The Regional Municipality of Halton (Halton Region) is located south west of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is located on Lake Ontario. Lake Ontario is the source water for all three of Halton Region's surface Water Treatment Plants which serves an approximate population of 400,000 people for the City of Burlington, the Town of Oakville and Town of Milton.
