摘要

This paper aims to study the ballast flight trajectory with mathematical method and physical method.The simplified trajectory equations are obtained according to aerodynamic theories and Newton's Second Law.The coefficient of air resistance is investigated and gained.Based on the simplified equations,the trajectories were drawn to investigate effect of different parameters on ballast projection trajectory.The parameters include wind velocity,initial velocity,and initial angle and so on.Some preliminary conclusions on ballast flight trajectory are obtained.Further study is needed to gain deeper understanding on ballast flight phenomenon.
